The Farm
Rooted in history, growing for the future
Welcome to Fell House Farm, a working family farm in the heart of Northumberland. With a history that stretches back over 400 years, this land has long been a place of cultivation, care, and connection. Today, it’s home not just to our luxury cabins, but to a growing vision of sustainable living, responsible farming, and wildlife conservation.

We’re proud to raise our pedigree Aberdeen Angus cattle and a small flock of rare Dorset Horn sheep - all on open pasture, with low-impact methods that care for both animals and land.

Your stay directly supports this work - helping us plant trees, restore native hedgerows, and create a healthy future for wildlife and people alike.
A Living, Breathing Landscape
Farming at Fell House Farm isn’t just about tradition—it’s about evolution. Every decision we make is shaped by a desire to do right by the land. That means:
-
Grazing gently to protect native wildflowers
-
Avoiding chemicals where possible to support soil health and pollinators
-
Planting for biodiversity and future generations
Where Wildlife Thrives
We’re creating a haven for nature - right alongside our farming life. Birds, bats, bees, and more call Fell Farm home, and we do all we can to help them flourish.
